Wakefit Q1 Profit Increases 19% YoY To ₹23.4 Cr, Revenue Crosses ₹400 Cr

Wakefit, a mattress manufacturer, reported a 19% increase in net profit for Q1 FY27, reaching ₹23.4 Cr, up from ₹19.6 Cr in the previous year. Operating revenue grew by 17% year-over-year and 18% quarter-over-quarter, totaling ₹404.9 Cr. Mattresses contributed 66% to the revenue, while furniture and furnishings accounted for the remaining 34%.

Total income included other income of ₹15.6 Cr, while expenses rose by 14% year-over-year to ₹384.2 Cr. Tax expenses were ₹12.9 Cr, down from a deferred tax credit of ₹98.1 Cr received in Q4 FY26. Operating EBITDA increased by 50% year-over-year to ₹36.8 Cr, with the margin improving to 9.1% from 7.1% in the same period last year.

Wakefit's retail channel expanded by 21% YoY, adding 27 new stores, bringing the total to 165 stores. The company aims to add nearly 80 COCO stores during FY27, with 80% of its planned FY27 capex allocated towards retail expansion, primarily the jumbo store format.
