The Government delegate in Ceuta, Miguel Ángel Pérez, has denied that the president of Ceuta, Jesús Vivas, warned of the massive entry of migrants into the autonomous city in the days leading up to the events. “I have read information about the days prior to the rush that said that President Vivas had tried to warn the President of the Government about what was going to happen. I suppose it will be a misunderstanding because it is not true,” he said.

The Ministry of Youth and Childhood has reported this Thursday that more than a hundred migrant minors are being cared for and have spent their first night in a Ceuta school. On Tuesday, Childhood requested permission to use two city schools to urgently care for unaccompanied minors who have been in Ceuta since last week.
