Ukraine’s military hits one of Russia’s biggest oil refineries in long-range drone attack

On the night of August 5, a Russian attack destroyed a Toyota Ukraine warehouse storing spare parts and related products, the company announced. The attack occurred overnight from August 4 to August 5, completely destroying the warehouse. Toyota Ukraine's team is now implementing a recovery plan to restore logistics operations and maintain stable product supplies to dealerships in Ukraine.

Alternative logistics solutions have been put in place to mitigate the impact on customer service. Temporary delays in the delivery of certain spare parts, accessories, lubricants, and other products are expected. Russia launched a massive overnight attack on Kyiv and surrounding Oblast on August 5, using ballistic missiles and jet-powered drones.

The attack resulted in 17 deaths, including eight individuals at a railway station near Brovary. In addition, Russia targeted the production and logistics infrastructure of Epicentr, destroying two warehouse complexes and another missile hit Epicentr Ceramic Corporation's production site. The attack also damaged two Silpo retail chain distribution centers and destroyed the NOVUS logistics center, halting its operations.

Three Russian missiles destroyed Rozetka's distribution warehouse in Brovary, and LIQUI MOLY Ukraine's central warehouse was also hit.
