NDP 2026: Public advised to arrive early for security checks, monitor crowd levels

Alternative MRT stations are recommended to avoid congestion. Pedestrians are prohibited from congregating on footways near Merdeka Bridge and Tanjong Rhu Bridge. Cycles are discouraged due to the expected congestion.

Several roads and lanes will be closed, affecting traffic around the stadium. Motorists are advised to plan routes in advance and use public transport. Enforcement action will be taken against traffic violations. After the celebrations, crowd dispersal may be gradual, requiring patience from the public.
