Tuas Port Marks 25 Million Teus As PSA Singapore Advances The Future Of Port Operations

PSA Singapore's Tuas Port has reached a major milestone, handling 25 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) since operations began in September 2022. This accomplishment highlights the terminal's growing significance as a central hub in global trade. As global maritime trade adapts to changing geopolitical landscapes, Tuas Port remains a vital link, offering dependable, efficient cargo flow.

As a cornerstone of PSA Group's Node to Network strategy, it bridges PSA's transhipment capabilities in Singapore with its extensive network of global ports, providing customers with increased flexibility, superior connectivity, and more efficient end-to-end supply chain services.

Mr Ong Kim Pong, Group CEO of PSA International, emphasized the importance of robust coordination in the face of complex global trade patterns. He highlighted how Tuas Port's integrated port ecosystem, designed for future-proofing supply chains, is streamlining terminal and logistics services to enable customers to move cargo more agilely, resiliently, and confidently.
