Real Madrid finally secure €140m Yan Diomande agreement with RB Leipzig

After weeks of tense negotiations, Real Madrid have finally secured a €140 million deal to sign RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande. The agreement was finally unblocked in the last 48 hours, after which the two clubs moved swiftly to finalize the terms. The deal was confirmed by Sky Sport Germany's Florian Plettenburg. Diomande, who has already agreed a five-year contract with Real Madrid, will become one of the most expensive signings in football history.

Real Madrid will pay a fixed €125 million for Diomande, with an additional €10 million in guaranteed add-ons and a further €5 million in more negotiable variables. While Diomande, at just 19 years old, may only have one full season of top-level experience, Real Madrid sees him as a player capable of making a significant contribution for years to come.

The young winger has already gained experience in Spanish football with Leganes, but adapting to life at the Bernabeu will be a new challenge. Real Madrid hopes to officially confirm Diomande's signing by the end of the week, turning their attention to other potential transfers, including a potential signing of Manchester City midfielder Rodri.
