Prof. Jayashankar’s ideals continue to guide Telangana, says Chief Minister

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy honored Prof. K. Jayashankar on his birth anniversary, recognizing him as the principal ideologue of the Telangana movement and a visionary who devoted his life to the cause of a separate State. Speaking at his residence in Jubilee Hills, Reddy emphasized the invaluable role Prof. Jayashankar played in shaping the Telangana movement.

The State government, under Reddy's leadership, remains committed to fulfilling the aspirations Prof. Jayashankar envisioned for the people. A similar tribute was observed at BRS State headquarters, where party leaders garlanded his statue. K.T. Rama Rao, the party working president, recalled his long association with Prof. Jayashankar, comparing him to the "godfather" of Telangana alongside K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar also paid homage, underscoring Prof. Jayashankar's unwavering dedication to Telangana and its people. Telangana Rakshana Sena president K. Kavitha paid tribute before addressing a public meeting in Saroornagar.
