This exclusive managed services offering ensures that AI agents and applications adhere to strict identity checks and access policies before interacting with data. DXC will handle the consulting, implementation, integration, governance, and ongoing operations through its global cybersecurity division.

Primary's solution focuses on attribute-based access control using their policy engine, treating users, agents, services, and devices as a single population. The company logs agent prompts, responses, and tool calls, while enforcing access at the session layer and applying data loss prevention measures. Primary also offers a software development kit for teams to integrate these controls directly into their applications.

The partnership targets organizations in highly regulated industries, where strict data sovereignty and audit requirements are essential. Both companies aim to address the unique challenges of AI agents, which operate independently and can access various systems. DXC's AI work includes an agentic security operations platform that reportedly reduced analyst handling time from 80 minutes to four minutes.
