Birmingham sign striker Effa Effa for £100K

Birmingham City has signed 19-year-old French striker Chancelle Effa Effa from Le Havre for a reported £100,000. The young forward, who has represented France at every youth level, joined the Women's Super League club after securing her professional contract earlier this year. Effa made her senior debut for Le Havre at just 15 years old and played a key role in their promotion back to the French top division.

She scored 17 goals in 28 appearances for France's youth teams. Manager Amy Merricks expressed excitement about bringing Effa to Birmingham City, praising her potential and experience. New assistant head coach Mark Beard brings extensive coaching experience, while goalkeeping coach Ben Chapman adds valuable expertise to the team's support staff.
