All the seized vessel, crew, and contraband were taken to Kuantan Perhutan Slipway for APMM investigation. The case was investigated under the provisions of the Fisheries Act 1985, Customs Act 1967, and the Immigration Act 1959/63 due to the illegal entry into Malaysian waters.
