MasterCraft Boat Holdings has announced the addition of CarPlay to its upcoming Crest and Balise Pontoons. The company is collaborating with Savvy Navvy to incorporate CarPlay and on-water navigation into boating experiences. Owners of select 2027 Crest or Balise pontoons will gain access to CarPlay, featuring similar functionalities to those found in automobiles.
The Savvy Navvy mobile application will sync with CarPlay, displaying nautical charts, GPS tracking, smart routing, and real-time weather updates, along with other CarPlay apps. Savvy Navvy's unique contribution lies in its water navigation capabilities, which are not accessible through Apple Maps CarPlay integration.
