NVIDIA and Partners Build in America, for America

For 250 years, America has built infrastructure that connected a continent, powered cities, and fueled prosperity. Now, the country is once again constructing the foundation for an AI-driven economy. NVIDIA is playing a key role in the U.S. National Science Foundation's State and Regional Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure Hubs program, which aims to expand access to the advanced computing resources necessary for AI research and education.

This program will support groups of educational institutions across states and regions, allowing them to collaborate and develop the necessary AI infrastructure, software, and expertise.

Wistron, a Taiwanese electronics company, has opened a 324,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas, to produce NVIDIA's advanced AI chips. This plant is already producing the NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Superchip and will soon start producing the NVIDIA Vera Rubin Superchip. This $700 million investment has already created over 500 jobs, with plans to expand to 1,000 jobs by the end of the year.

NVIDIA's network of American partners and suppliers spans the entire AI infrastructure, including semiconductors, boards, systems, racks, and more. This investment in manufacturing, supply chains, energy grids, and skilled workforces will help the U.S. produce the necessary infrastructure for advancements in healthcare, scientific discovery, industrial productivity, and global technology leadership.

Jensen Huang, NVIDIA's founder and CEO, emphasized that AI is not just about chips and models but also about the physical components behind them, such as advanced semiconductors, packaging, power systems, cooling, and cloud capacity. By bringing the supply chain home, NVIDIA aims to accelerate the development of new industries and reimagine existing ones, ultimately leading to increased productivity, job creation, and economic growth.
