Govt. committed to providing permanent solutions to people’s problems: Seethakka

Danasari Anasuya, also known as Seethakka, the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Minister, emphasized on Wednesday that the government's duty extends beyond merely listening to people's problems. She affirmed that her administration was committed to delivering lasting solutions and working diligently until justice was served for every deserving individual.

During a weekly face-to-face session at Gandhi Bhavan, the Minister fielded petitions from citizens and pledged that each submission would be thoroughly reviewed. She instructed officials to diligently monitor every petition and take prompt action. Seethakka stressed that longstanding issues must be addressed promptly and that individuals should not be compelled to repeatedly visit government offices.

Officials were instructed to create clear action plans and ensure the effective execution of solutions. Among the grievances highlighted were accusations of land encroachments and inaccuracies in pattadar passbooks resulting from irregularities in the previous Dharani system. Families who did not receive housing during the prior government's term requested the allocation of Indiramma houses, while numerous young people advocated for an increase in the maximum age for police recruitment.

Some petitions also called for the withdrawal of police cases that were allegedly filed under the previous administration.
