Drone with explosive device found near Ukrainian cargo plane at German airport
German authorities launched a major security operation overnight after an explosives-laden drone was found on the tarmac near a Ukrainian cargo plane at Leipzig-Halle Airport, forcing flight diversions and prompting the deployment of a bomb disposal robot. A cargo aircraft that aborted its landing also struck an unidentified object mid-air before landing safely.
