Cloudflare has unveiled Open-Source Cloudflare OS, an AI operating system designed to enhance company productivity while maintaining security. This innovative system initiates with a conversation within the browser, where the AI tool is grounded in the organization's curated context and skills.

To achieve goals, users simply assign a task to the workspace, which then leverages the company's existing tools and data to accomplish the desired outcome.

Cloudflare OS comprises three main components. First, an agent workspace that operates within an isolated runtime environment. This workspace allows agents to write and run code while drawing on the curated context and skills of the organization.

Second, a robust security and governance framework ensures safe access to internal data and services. This framework is essential for maintaining the company's security posture while integrating AI tools.

Lastly, a platform for personal, modifiable apps empowers users to create, share, and continually update applications tailored to their needs.

Contrary to traditional operating systems, Cloudflare OS is not a conventional computer operating system.
