CJP core committee meet today after historic Jantar Mantar protest: Key agenda, what to expect

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has convened its core committee meeting following a significant protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. The two-day gathering in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, will see the group's founder, spokespeople, and key leaders discuss the next steps for the youth movement. CJP chief Abhijeet Dipke stated that the meeting will focus on reviewing the recent protest, gathering feedback from participants on how to improve future programmes, and expanding the team to strengthen the movement's presence across the nation.

Dipke emphasized that there are no plans to transform CJP into a political party, as the organization continues to operate as a social movement. The meeting is aimed at strategizing ways to bring the movement to the grassroots level and address the concerns of the youth. When specifics are finalized on August 6th, the CJP will inform the public about its future strategy.

Chief Spokesperson Saurav Das assured that this is not a political party but an awakening at the grassroots level, addressing people's pain rather than offering another political option.

Following the meeting, CJP plans to launch a nationwide listening tour, engaging with volunteers across the country to understand the needs and aspirations of the youth in light of the successful Jantar Mantar protest against Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Pradhan resigned on July 25th due to a month-long youth movement demanding government accountability over the NEET paper leaks. The CJP aims to share further details on upcoming events, including the nationwide tour, in the days to come.
