Charli XCX on lying, Love Island and life post-Brat

Charli XCX revealed during an interview that she had been lying about not having started working on her new album, Music, Fashion, Film. The singer was finishing the record at the time of the interview. She explained that she knew the announcement of her appearance at Reading and Leeds festival would be related to this upcoming album.

Despite the success of Brat, Charli expressed that she cannot fully disengage from her public persona, except when watching Love Island.
