The eatery, owned by Norain Abdul Rahman, has become a popular destination for locals and visitors alike, with customers traveling from Brunei, Sabah, and Miri to enjoy the river delicacy.

The restaurant's star attraction is the giant prawn, which is featured in various traditional dishes such as mi bandung, fried noodles, Sarawak laksa, and nasi penyet. The prawns are sourced locally from the Lawas area, ensuring the freshest taste and quality. The popularity of the restaurant, especially during weekends and school holidays, is such that some customers reserve tables up to two weeks in advance.

Norain, who has been running the business for 20 years, moved the eatery to a new location near the Merapok River two years ago, providing a more spacious and picturesque setting for diners. The restaurant's high-quality prawns and scenic location near the sunset have drawn customers from all over, turning Kuala Lawas into a popular food stop for those seeking local river delicacies.
