Al menos 14 muertos y 27 heridos en ataques rusos en la región de Kiev

At least 14 individuals have lost their lives and 27 have been injured in nighttime attacks by Russia on the Kiev region, according to a statement from the Ukrainian State Emergency Service on Wednesday. The organization reported that all injured are receiving necessary medical assistance. Emergency alerts continued for over an hour across the capital, a city of three million residents, where military authorities reported seven targets hit during an attack that began just after midnight.

Mayor Vitali Klitschko warned on Telegram that people may still be trapped under the rubble. Among the injured is an ambulance driver and four individuals are in critical condition. On Wednesday, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed to have targeted logistical and supply centers in Kiev and its surroundings, stating they were used for military purposes.

Klitschko reported that the attack caused fires in storage facilities and on the outskirts of the city, with missile debris landing near a residential building. Kiev's military administration said the attack triggered an ammonia leak being managed by emergency teams. Russia has ramped up its attacks on Kiev in recent weeks, with several bombings reported in the past month.

Ukraine also struck a logistics center of Russian e-commerce giant Wildberries, joining more than a dozen facilities damaged recently.
