Robbers shoot LASU graduate during attack on PoS operator

A yet-to-be-identified LASU graduate is currently fighting for his life after being shot by suspected armed robbers during an attack on a Point of Sale (PoS) operator in Lagos. The incident occurred on Kayode Onafuye Street in the Alhaji Ede area of Igando, Lagos State, on Sunday. Eyewitnesses reported that a gang of four men, armed with guns, pursued the PoS operator to her residence in search of her.

Upon discovering the operator was not home, the robbers attempted to force entry into the house but were thwarted when the house's occupants closed the door. In a moment of frustration, the robbers began firing their weapons indiscriminately. One of the bullets struck the graduate, who was walking past the scene unaware of the ongoing events.

The graduate, who had recently graduated from LASU, was taken to a nearby General Hospital by those who rushed to his aid. The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Abimbola Adebisi, has yet to confirm the incident as of the time of this report.
