Ukrainian drones hit Wildberries warehouses in overnight strikes

On the morning of August 4, drones targeted Wildberries marketplace warehouses in Chekhov, Moscow Oblast, as reported by independent news outlet Astra. Footage shows the drones approaching the facilities. A fire erupted in the private sector. Moscow Oblast Governor Andrey Vorobyov confirmed the UAV attack, specifying that the largest fire occurred at a warehouse. The incident also damaged an electrical substation and an administrative building.

Astra's OSINT analysis suggests the UAV strike targeted the staging area in front of the warehouse complex in Chekhov. Earlier that night, drones reportedly attacked the temporarily occupied Berdyansk in Zaporizhzhya Oblast. Fires were also recorded in Syzran, Russia. Leningrad Oblast Governor Alexander Drozdenko confirmed an attack on a Wildberries warehouse in Krasny Bor.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces initiated the attacks on Wildberries logistics centers on July 18. As of August 2, targeted company warehouses suffered damage spanning 1.21 million to 1.47 million square meters, which makes up 17.2% to 22.2% of Wildberries' declared 5.2 million square meters of logistics infrastructure. At least 18 warehouses sustained damage, including a distribution center in Elektrostal that was entirely destroyed by the fire.
