CMF announces its first pair of open-ear earbuds for under $100

CMF, known for disrupting various product categories, has introduced its first pair of open-ear earbuds under $100 with the Clip Pro. The earbuds feature a 3-point clip design that evenly distributes pressure, ensuring comfort and preventing pinching, making them suitable for city-dwellers and active individuals. Weighing only 5.9 grams per bud, they offer a barely there feel.

Unlike traditional earbuds that insert into the ear canal, the Clip Pro buds sit against the ear, allowing users to immerse themselves in music or podcasts without feeling disconnected from their surroundings. The earbuds are equipped with dual-magnet dynamic drivers, delivering powerful bass, detailed mids, and well-balanced high frequencies.

To compensate for the open-ear design, Nothing and CMF have developed Ultra Bass Technology, which intelligently enhances low frequencies while reducing distortion from the treble. The earbuds support Hi-Res Certified audio and various codecs like LDAC, AAC, and SBC. With four HD microphones, the Clip Pro prioritizes voice clarity during calls, minimizing ambient noise.

A proprietary Smart Dial in the charging case enables hands-free control over volume, playback, and calls. Offering 10 hours of continuous playback and 32.5 hours with the charging case, the Clip Pro also includes low latency gaming mode, dual Bluetooth connections, Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, and IP54 water and dust resistance.

Priced at $99, the CMF Clip Pro is set to launch on August 15 in three colors: Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Coral.
