Clerics urge Christians to live beyond wealth, build lasting legacy

Senior Pastor Rev. Femi Adesina and other religious leaders have called upon Christians to prioritize spiritual devotion and selfless service over accumulating wealth. This message was delivered during a candlelight procession held in Abeokuta, Ogun State, to commemorate the second anniversary of the death of Rev. Fola Achudume, who passed away on August 3, 2024.

Achudume was a co-founder of Victory Life Bible Church International and the founder of Royal Ladies International. The procession, which took place after a two-day remembrance program, included prayers, tributes, and an educational empowerment presentation in her memory. Rev. Adesina, in his memorial address, urged believers to leave a lasting legacy, not by the size of their houses or wealth, but by their service to God and humanity.

Rev. Adeoye Adeyanju, Assistant General Overseer of Victory Life Bible Church International, emphasized the importance of maintaining Achudume's commitment to God, evangelism, and service to humanity in order to truly honor her memory. The event also featured the presentation of an educational empowerment package to the beneficiary of the RFA Educational Empowerment Initiative, highlighting Achudume's dedication to supporting education and uplifting lives.
