Yuvraj Singh Backs Healthians Founder’s New Venture UN:BLOC, Joins Founding Team

Cricket legend Yuvraj Singh has joined the founding team of healthtech startup UN:BLOC, which is currently in stealth mode, as both a founder and investor. Deepak Sahni, the founder of UN:BLOC, earlier established the at-home diagnostics company Healthians. Sahni expressed that the startup aims to shift the perception of patients from being managed for life to being understood at the root level.

The investment from Singh is likely part of the startup's pre-launch funding round, with several healthcare leaders, founders, and business executives expected to join the company's cap table in the upcoming weeks. However, details regarding UN:BLOC's key offerings, technology, and launch timeline remain undisclosed. The Gurugram-based startup is reportedly developing an AI-powered healthcare platform with a focus on chronic diseases, aiming to address the root cause of these illnesses and reduce the reliance on long-term medication.

This marks the second collaboration between Singh and Sahni, as the cricketer initially invested in Healthians in 2015 through his early-stage investment fund, YouWeCan Ventures. Healthians, which offers a nationwide network for doorstep diagnostic testing, was founded by Sahni in 2014. As AI and consumer awareness have surged post-pandemic, the Indian healthtech sector is witnessing a new phase with startups leveraging technology for clinical support, preventive healthcare, and personalized treatment recommendations.
