X Factor finalist denies murdering influencer by running her over with car

Gabrielle Carrington, a former X Factor contestant from Manchester, pleaded not guilty to charges of murdering influencer Klaudia Zakrzewska and causing grievous bodily harm to a security guard. The incident allegedly occurred outside Inca nightclub in Soho on April 19th at around 4:30 AM. Carrington, who has over 365,000 followers on Instagram, appeared at the Old Bailey via video link from Bronzefield prison.

She denied the charges of attempted murder, which was later upgraded to murder after Zakrzewska's death six days later. Carrington also denied a second charge of causing grievous bodily harm with intent to security guard Anoush Chyche. The trial was confirmed to take place at the same court starting January 5th. Carrington's emotional appearance in court, where she wiped away tears during the hearing, was noted by the court.

The altercation reportedly began with Carrington and a male, which escalated into a crowd, prompting security intervention. Carrington drove her car onto the pavement, striking Zakrzewska, who later died in the hospital. Chyche, in his 50s, suffered life-changing injuries. Carrington, who was previously in the X Factor live finals in 2013 as part of Miss Dynamix, is a social media influencer with a history of trips to the United Arab Emirates. Zakrzewska, known as Klaudiaglam, was a TikTok and Instagram influencer.
