‘Will the emperor show his degree?’: CJP's Abhijeet Dipke throws a dare after BJP worker questions his US education

CJP leader Abhijeet Dipke has challenged BJP leaders to reveal their own educational qualifications after a BJP worker sought details of Dipke's education via the Right to Information (RTI) process. Dipke, in a video posted on X, stated: "Will the emperor show his degree?" He appeared to be referencing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, drawing a comparison between Dipke and the Indian political elite.

Dipke claimed that a BJP worker had filed an RTI to investigate how he financed his education in the United States. In response to this move, Dipke questioned whether BJP leaders would also disclose their educational backgrounds. He further challenged them to reveal what he termed as their "real degree," and questioned the reasons behind the BJP's disapproval of education.

Dipke also defended his educational journey, stating that he financed his studies at Boston University through a scholarship and an education loan, the latter of which is still pending repayment. He later clarified that he returned to India in June and led a major protest movement in the country. Dipke holds a Master of Science in Public Relations from Boston University.

His remarks come in the wake of a political controversy surrounding his educational qualifications, which the BJP has not yet responded to.
