The next official Palworld mobile game comes from an unexpected studio

A new official mobile game set in the Palworld universe is being developed by Garena, a Singapore-based studio with extensive experience in mobile game creation. Palworld Online, an upcoming massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), will launch on iOS and Android later this year. Garena, under an official license from Pocketpair, will be responsible for bringing the scale and freedom of the original survival game to mobile devices.

The game will feature creature collecting, crafting, base building, co-op, PvP, and PvE multiplayer modes, similar to the PC version. However, it will also introduce a fresh setting, new story content, and simplified touch controls tailored for smaller screens. Pocketpair CEO Takuro Mizobe revealed that the partnership with Garena was influenced by the studio's successful track record in running live mobile games globally.

The game is set to launch alongside Palworld's 1.0 update and the recently released Palworld card game, as Pocketpair continues to expand the universe. Meanwhile, Samsung has partnered with Activision to bring Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 to their Odyssey G9 ultra-wide monitor series, featuring HDR10+ Gaming support for a 32:9 aspect ratio.

Additionally, Intel may unveil a more affordable alternative to its Arc G3 Extreme handheld processor, potentially enabling cheaper handheld devices based on a Panther Lake chip with eight CPU cores and four Xe3 GPU cores.
