The Pentagon is reaching out to military experts for guidance on how to best punish Iran, according to a CNN report. The US administration is seeking creative and unconventional methods to push Iran towards a deal that aligns with President Donald Trump's preferences. An email from a US Central Command (Centcom) intelligence officer detailed the request for innovative ideas to pressure and penalize Iran.

Centcom spokesperson confirmed the move is not unprecedented and reflects the Pentagon's tradition of exploring unconventional strategies. However, the email raises questions about the administration's preparedness for the prolonged conflict. The ongoing US-Israeli war on Iran, which began on February 28, has resulted in Iran blocking the Strait of Hormuz, leading to soaring energy prices and direct impacts on Trump voters.

Recently, Saudi Arabia's state media reported that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had called President Trump to stress the importance of dialogue to de-escalate tensions and the need for all efforts to achieve a truce, paving the way for diplomatic solutions.
