HTBF seeks Andhra University support for scholarship outreach

Help The Blind Foundation (HTBF) has reached out to Andhra University, seeking their assistance in promoting scholarship opportunities for visually impaired students enrolled in their affiliated colleges for the 2026-27 academic year. In a formal letter addressed to the University, HTBF has appointed volunteer V. Narayan Rao as the authorized liaison to engage with eligible students, provide comprehensive information about the scholarship program, guide them through the eligibility and documentation process, assist with applications, and collaborate with colleges as needed.

HTBF, a charitable trust established in 2010, is committed to supporting visually impaired students hailing from economically disadvantaged backgrounds through various means, including scholarships, mentorship, employability training, English language learning, access to assistive technology, and career guidance. To facilitate a smooth outreach initiative, HTBF has also requested the University to designate a coordinator for an introductory meeting scheduled for August 5 at the Waltair Club in Visakhapatnam.

During this meeting, representatives from HTBF will present the organization's diverse programs and activities to the faculty and students present.
