Elon Musk is looking for trades workers to build AI data centers — and his famous 3-bullet-point requirement applies

Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX, is seeking skilled trades workers for the construction of AI data centers. In an X post, Musk announced that SpaceX is hiring talented individuals to build data centers both on and off Earth. Applicants are required to submit three bullet points showcasing their exceptional abilities, along with their resume, to datacenters@spacex.com.

Musk's strategy of requesting three bullet points from potential candidates has become a distinctive aspect of his hiring process. Previously, he has asked for three bullet points highlighting evidence of exceptional ability or three bullet points detailing the toughest technical problems they have solved. This approach is now extended to trades workers for the construction of data centers as SpaceX plays a significant role in Musk's AI ambitions.

Earlier this year, SpaceX acquired Musk's AI startup, xAI, which has since been rebranded as SpaceXAI. The company now operates Colossus, a massive AI supercomputer campus located in Memphis, Tennessee, that is used to train SpaceX's Grok AI models.
