African Agribusiness Consortium, Jospong announce next batch of 120 Ghanaian scholars for Russia programme

The African Agribusiness Consortium (AAC) and Jospong Group of Companies have announced plans to sponsor an additional 120 Ghanaian students to pursue postgraduate studies in Russia under their agricultural scholarship program. This news was shared during a thanksgiving service held at Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC) in Trasacco, Ghana, on August 2nd. The event celebrated the successful return of the first cohort of Ghanaian scholars who completed their studies in Russia.

Dr. Adelaide Siaw Agyepong, CEO and Executive Director of both AAC and Jospong Group, praised God's faithfulness throughout the program's journey, overcoming challenges and logistical issues. She urged graduates to prioritize service, humility, and integrity over academic titles, emphasizing the true impact lies in transforming lives rather than holding positions of power.

Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, Executive Chairman of Jospong Group, encouraged the graduates to remain patient and focused as they transition into professional life, emphasizing the commencement of greater responsibilities after completing their studies. Representatives from RUDN University affirmed that their Memorandum of Understanding with AAC for sponsoring 500 Ghanaian students remains in effect.

The next phase of this scholarship program is already underway, with plans to sponsor another 120 Ghanaian students to pursue postgraduate studies in Russia. Russian university officials commended the collaboration as a model for Africa, highlighting the transfer of knowledge, technology, and expertise to accelerate agricultural and environmental transformation across the continent.
