The latest official report raises to 72 the number of dead migrants, as announced this Sunday by the delegate of the Government of Ceuta, Miguel Ángel Pérez Triano. The delegate has assured that they will work to speed up the files of the people who have entered the autonomous city irregularly in recent days with the aim of carrying out the returns "as soon as possible".

Ceuta is trying to return to normal after the irregular entry last Thursday of more than 50,000 people from Morocco and, although most of them have returned to their country, the Security Forces and the Army are carrying out controls in the streets to ensure that all of them leave the city.

The Beni-Enzar crossing, the only operational one in Melilla, has been open for 24 hours since its reopening after a day and a half of closure due to the migratory crisis that has forced the reinforcement of the Civil Guard and National Police personnel so that the border with Morocco returns to normal.
