Trump says he's cancelling strikes on Iran as 'perimeters of a deal' agreed

The US military, Trump declared, is prepared for "Military Terror, Strength, and Power not seen since World War II."

However, Iran and other Middle Eastern countries have requested Trump and other world leaders to cease any military action until a deal is reached. In his recent post, Trump highlighted that a deal would require the complete opening of the Strait of Hormuz and an end to Iran's nuclear threat. In response to this request, Trump agreed to halt the attack, pending the possibility of rapidly concluding a deal.

Earlier on Saturday, Israeli sources informed The Jerusalem Post that Israel had increased its military readiness, anticipating Trump's decision to resume military strikes on Iran. Israeli officials revealed that they are currently on high alert and awaiting the president's final decision. It was also reported that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had urged Trump to reconsider potential large-scale military strikes on Iran during a telephone conversation on Saturday.
