India's Chhetri urges Tata Group to reverse Jamshedpur shutdown

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the 'Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan', an initiative aimed at combating drug addiction among India's youth. The Prime Minister emphasized that the supply of drugs is part of a "terror plan" by hostile countries to undermine India's interests. He urged the youth to take the lead in this movement, asserting their awareness and responsibility towards their duties.

Prime Minister Modi highlighted that more than one crore youths from diverse sectors, institutions, and backgrounds participated in the launch event and pledged to lead the campaign. He further explained that when a young person succumbs to drug addiction, it is not just an individual loss but a blow to the nation, as hostile nations scheme to lure youth into addiction for their own malicious purposes.

The campaign, which coincidentally marks the beginning of the 100-week nationwide Jan Bhagidari movement, will involve various activities such as sports events, walkathons, meditation sessions, cultural programs, and awareness campaigns across the country every Sunday. The Prime Minister emphasized the need for physical and mental well-being among the youth and urged them to stay away from drugs and other harmful substances to contribute to the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
