'Cancel JPSC exam': Jharkhand students continue protest, seek CBI investigation

Hundreds of students in Jharkhand continued their protest on Sunday, the fifth day, over alleged irregularities in the 14th Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) examination and other recruitment tests. The demonstrators are seeking a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into recruitment examinations and the cancellation of the test held on April 19.

They are also demanding reforms in the state’s recruitment agencies and the resignation of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Protesters threatened to march to the Jharkhand Assembly if their demands are not met, holding an indefinite sit-in at Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium.
