Biggest winners and losers in the Negeri Sembilan polls

The 16th Negeri Sembilan state elections concluded with Barisan Nasional (BN) and Perikatan Nasional (PN) solidifying their dominance, while Pakatan Harapan (PH) suffered a significant setback. The BN, led by Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, achieved a landslide victory, gaining 18 seats through its informal seat-sharing pact with PN. PH, which had held power in the state since 2018, lost all three of its seats, with PH chairman Anwar Ibrahim's intervention proving ineffective.

The Pakatan Win Prize (PKR) saw a dramatic decline, losing five seats to just two while its former menteri besar Aminuddin Harun witnessed a narrow defeat. The independent party, Bersatu, lost all 24 seats it contested, marking a complete defeat. PAS, under the PN umbrella, saw a remarkable turnaround, with several of its majorities expanding significantly, including in heavily contested seats like Serting and Paroi.

Wawasan, a new party backed by BN and PAS, performed exceptionally well, winning three of the four seats it contested, marking its maiden victory under the PN banner. Bersatu, however, emerged as the biggest loser, failing to secure a single seat and suffering heavy losses across all its contested constituencies.
