Alan Jones arrives for indecent assault, sexual touching trial

Veteran Sydney radio broadcaster Alan Jones has appeared in court for the commencement of his trial regarding six counts of indecent assault and sexual touching. The 85-year-old denies all allegations, which allegedly took place between 2003 and 2020 at various locations, including his apartment inside 'The Toaster' in Sydney, a public event, and his former property in the Southern Highlands.

After a series of pre-trial hearings, the charges have been reduced from their original number, leaving Jones facing 22 charges in total. The trial, presided over by Judge Glenn Walsh, is expected to feature more than 70 witnesses and span several weeks.
