Israeli strikes on residential buildings kill eight overnight in Gaza

Overnight, Israeli strikes in Gaza claimed the lives of at least eight individuals, among them two children, according to reports. Despite claims from Hamas that it had agreed to the latest stage of a peace deal, the strikes continued. Civil defense officials in Gaza revealed that an Israeli military helicopter targeted an apartment near the central Gaza Strip, resulting in the death of a man and his wife, along with several others who were wounded.

Later, an elderly man and a child were killed when an apartment west of Gaza City was struck. Another attack in the southern Gaza Strip resulted in the death of three people, including a child, and damaged a hospital's medical supplies. The latest strike, targeting an apartment in Al-Sousi Tower west of Gaza City, claimed the lives of three Palestinians, including a child.
