Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani recently donated 39 vehicles to Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI), Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), and various religious sects and Christian denominations. The aim of the donations is to promote peaceful coexistence and free and fair elections in Kaduna State and across the country. Director General of Interfaith, Malam Tahir Umar Tahir, informed that the vehicles will be used for peace-building activities and election advocacy.
The Governor has promised to extend the same generosity to other Islamic sects and Christian denominations. Uba Sani's commitment to fostering religious harmony and democratic values has been evident since he took office over three years ago, where he has been liaising with religious leaders in distributing benefits of democracy to adherents of both faiths.
