Trent McDuffie won’t be active for Myles Garrett’s return

The Los Angeles Rams have placed cornerback Trent McDuffie on the inactive list for their upcoming Week 9 game against the Washington Commanders. This means the team will have to wait another week before having the opportunity to reunite their two star offseason trade acquisitions, Myles Garrett and McDuffie. McDuffie will miss his second game with a back injury, preventing him from taking the field alongside Garrett for the first time since the Rams' Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

This marks only one game in which both defensive stars have been active together. The Rams, who acquired Garrett and McDuffie during the offseason trade deadline, will have to settle for one game with both players on the field.
