Scene Box Office Collection Day 2: Suriya’s film sees 6.3% growth, crosses Rs 81 crore worldwide

Mookuthi Amman 2 and Scene, two films released during Diwali weekend, are the talk of Kollywood. On its first day, Scene, starring Suriya and Nazriya Nazim, received a fantastic response, collecting Rs. 19.15 crore net in India. In contrast, Nayanthara's Mookuthi Amman 2 had a low opening, collecting Rs. 1.88 crore net in India.

However, the future looks promising for Nayanthara's film, with early estimates predicting it to collect around Rs. 2.50–3 crore on Saturday. If night show footfalls are better, the collection might even exceed this prediction. On the other hand, Scene is expected to maintain its steady performance, collecting around Rs. 19–20 crore on its second day.

If night show footfalls increase, the numbers could potentially be higher. Both movies have different budgets, with Mookuthi Amman 2 reportedly costing Rs. 100 crore and Scene around Rs. 50 crore, excluding Suriya's fees. The budget of Mookuthi Amman 2 will be crucial in determining its performance during the coming days to match the budget.
