Open Thread, Sunday, November 8: How has your year been going?

I graduated from college for the second time this year and earned a new qualification. While pursuing a career with this qualification has been challenging, the flexibility I now have as a primary parent has been incredibly valuable for our family. It's difficult not to feel like the years spent in school may have been somewhat wasted. Until I can find a more formal opportunity in my new field, I plan to engage in some volunteering to stay connected.

Speaking of game time, I may start a new series to play through soon. If you're interested in jumping in, now is a great time to join.
