Naja'atu Muhammad, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and supporter of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, has accused presidential candidates Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of being moles, working against Atiku. During an interview, Naja'atu stated that the Atiku campaign would never endorse either Obi or Kwankwaso as the party's presidential candidate.
She criticized Obi for not being transparent about his political intentions, and accused Kwankwaso of lacking loyalty to the party by suggesting President Bola Tinubu was a better leader than Atiku. Naja'atu also alleged that Kwankwaso's supporters in Kano instructed voters to spoil their ballots, rather than support Atiku. She questioned Obi's eligibility to represent the ADC, as he has never held a primary election to test his popularity.
Naja'atu warned that excluding Atiku from the race would threaten democracy, and called for Nigerians to resist such actions.
