Nkechi Blessing’s ex, Falegan, apologises over bitter breakup

Ekiti politician and philanthropist, Opeyemi Falegan, publicly apologized to Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday for their bitter breakup in 2022. The two addressed their relationship's end during a TikTok Live session, where they revisited their disagreements and exchanged viewpoints. Nkechi insisted on receiving an apology before they could move forward, claiming that comments Falegan made about her during an earlier social media Live session had contributed to their dispute.

She warned that some of those remarks were still being used against her online. Nkechi also defended Falegan against online criticism, correcting people who wrongly accused him of wrongdoing. She emphasized that reconciliation required an apology, stating, "There's no letting go without an apology." Falegan acknowledged his personal growth over time and urged both parties to let the matter rest, apologizing to Nkechi, saying, "Do not be angry, Nkechi. That is gone. See that you have grown and more mature."
