Nashville SC eye MLS Cup after record-setting regular season

Nashville SC continue to dominate the 2025 MLS regular season, setting a new single-season points record of 77 and winning both the US Open Cup and Supporters' Shield. The team, coached by B.J. Callaghan, has consistently pushed for excellence under his watchful eye.

Their defensive prowess has been a cornerstone, with 17 clean sheets securing the league record. Even without key players, the Boys in Gold have remained resilient, as seen when they shut out Cincinnati's potent attack.

Head Goalkeeper Brian Schwake's 16th clean sheet of the season further solidified Nashville's reputation for defensive excellence. Defender Jack Maher credits Callaghan's leadership for the transformation, stating that the coach's work ethic has been instilled in the entire team.

The club's focus now shifts to the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, where they aim to add yet another trophy to their collection. Captain Hany Mukhtar, who has contributed 25 goals this season, believes he deserves a second MVP award. He calls for his teammates to return hungry and ready for the challenge ahead, with celebrations planned for December 18th.
