Fans react as India U-19 batters suffer a top-order collapse batting first against Pakistan in the U-19 Asia Cup 2026.
India's Under-19 cricket team faced a tough challenge against Pakistan in the Asia Cup Group A match at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Oman. Choosing to bat first, India struggled against Pakistan's bowling attack, ending their innings at 128 for 5 after just 30 overs. Captain Lakshya Raichandani was dismissed for a duck by Ali Raza, followed by VK Vineeth for 8 and Yashbardhan Chauhan for 1, all bowled by Ali Raza.
India's two most experienced batters, Aaryavir Sehwag and Anvay Dravid, also fell cheaply, ending their knocks at 22 and 10 respectively. However, Arjun Rajput's unbeaten 79 off 65 balls, which included 10 fours and 3 sixes, provided a glimmer of hope for the Indian side. Fans on social media quickly reacted to the match, praising Pakistan's bowling attack and highlighting individual performances.
