Brian Flores has stumped everyone so far in 2026, and now the Minnesota Vikings face off against the Buffalo Bills in Week 9. Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Bills, and the NFL's best offense will test their skills against the Vikings' formidable defense, led by Flores. The Bills' defense has struggled, but Allen's presence provides them with a margin for error.
The Bills are currently the only one-loss team in the AFC, giving them control of their destiny for the No. 1 seed. The Vikings' offense, under the leadership of Brian Flores, has been under the microscope after not fully unlocking their potential with the addition of Kyler Murray. Now, the Vikings face the challenge of facing one of the best offenses in the league again.
Can they find a way to stop Allen and his running game, which ranks third in rushing yards per game? The Bills have one of the best rushing attacks in football, with a third-place ranking in rushing yards per game and an impressive first-down run rate. Their successful rushing game, especially on early downs, will be crucial for the Vikings to exploit.
However, Allen's performance against the blitz, which has been a key aspect of the Vikings' defense, will be a crucial factor in the outcome of the game.
