US President Donald Trump has appointed Stephen Miller as the White House Chief of Staff, replacing Susie Wiles. Miller, 41, is described by Trump as one of his most trusted advisors. Miller will assume his new role on Monday. This appointment comes amid Democratic gains in the midterm elections, with Democrats set to control both chambers of Congress in January.
Miller's role as chief of staff will see him manage presidential staff, oversee appointments, coordinate daily operations, and advise the president on policy. His role will also provide him with significant influence over the flow of information reaching the Oval Office.
