Usman Khawaja book name: Release date, Sandpapergate and what to expect from ex-Australia star's 'explosive' book
Usman Khawaja has reportedly briefed Pat Cummins ahead of his upcoming autobiography, which is expected to revisit the Sandpapergate scandal.
Ex-Australia cricketer Usman Khawaja is set to release his upcoming autobiography titled Sabr on November 10. The book is expected to shed light on the controversial Sandpapergate scandal from 2018, where Australian players allegedly attempted to tamper with the ball using sandpaper. Khawaja reportedly met with Australia's captain Pat Cummins to warn him about the explosive contents of his book.
Khawaja claims that the entire Australian dressing room knew about the sandpaper plan during a Test match in South Africa in 2018, contradicting the official statement. The book also includes discussions on Khawaja's experiences playing for Australia, his early life, and his activism for Palestinians.
