Singapore Airlines (SIA) is unveiling its next-generation cabin products on November 6, promising a more comfortable travel experience on long-haul flights. The upgrades span all four cabin classes - First, Business, Premium Economy, and Economy.
First Class passengers will be greeted with a suite featuring a plush bed measuring 80 inches by 60 inches. The bed can be formed by moving seats together, or individually converted into fully flat beds measuring 80 inches by 30 inches. The cabin will be adorned with curved sliding doors for privacy, Poltrona Frau leather upholstery, SIA’s signature batik motif, and lighting designed to complement the environment.
The seats offer adjustable side wings, lumbar support, arm rests, a leg rest, and an ottoman, allowing passengers to customize their seating positions. Additionally, a cloud-soft day blanket and a batik-patterned cushion will be available for lounging.
Business Class passengers will find new seats with full-grain leather upholstery, bespoke embroidery, layered textures, and metallic accents. The seats come equipped with privacy doors and electronically adjustable dividers, and can be transformed into fully flat beds measuring 79 inches by 24 inches. Selected center seats can be converted into double beds when the dividers are lowered. Passengers can also enjoy a larger footwell and additional cushioning with memory foam for added comfort.
In Premium Economy and Economy Class cabins, passengers will experience redesigned seats with wool-blend upholstery, ergonomic cushioning, and four-way adjustable headrests. The seats have a 31 to 32 inch seat pitch, 17.6 inch width, and up to six inches of recline. Other amenities include a bi-fold table, USB-C charging ports, and a cocktail tray for drinks and snacks.
